Join us for the annual ROR community meeting! This is a multi-session online event to celebrate ROR’s anniversary, share the latest news and updates, hear about community implementations, and learn how to work with ROR data and tools. All are welcome to join.

Meeting sessions will take place January 31 and February 1, 2023. You may choose which session(s) to attend based on your interest.

Note that you must register separately on Zoom for each session you would like to attend. Please only register if you actually plan to join, so that we can estimate approximately how many people to expect.

Session 1: ROR Community Update

In this session, we will provide an update for the community on ROR’s progress to date, share our plans for the new year, and discuss ways to get involved.

Session 3: Introduction to the ROR API

This is a hands-on, interactive training session for those interested in learning the basics of working with the ROR API.

Session 4: Strategies for Matching Affiliation Strings to ROR IDs

February 1, 17:00 UTC (1 hour)

Oriented toward more advanced technical users, this session explores how to use ROR to match affiliation strings, featuring lightning talks and demos by OpenAlex, DOE/OSTI, Allen AI, and Crossref.
