In the May 2020 meeting, we hear reports on outreach efforts, including the first “Intro to ROR” webinar and the launch of a ROR YouTube channel. Development and curation updates include a new technical lead, improved metadata handling from GRID, and ongoing work on ORCID integration, with plans to streamline bulk submission of organizations to ROR. Community updates highlight efforts such as mapping ROR IDs at the US DOE and integrating ROR into OJS journals, with discussions about validating ROR IDs through additional metadata. Lastly, a publisher implementation group is forming, and timelines for Crossref and ORCID integrations are being set.

The curation team continues to refine workflows for ROR updates, and the ROR team continues to fundraise and consider other options to ensure ROR's sustainability.
